¶ 1. John Jones1 challenges the fairness of the financial awards to his wife, Jane Jones, tied to their fault-based divorce. John’s primary dissatisfaction concerns the chancellor’s division of the marital estate. As John sees it, the chancellor should have placed more weight on the fact the marital estate was amassed almost solely through his family’s generosity and less emphasis on his actions that undoubtedly caused the end of the almost thirty-year marriage.
