OPINION AND ORDER

KING, United States Magistrate Judge.

Plaintiff brings this diversity action under 28 U.S.C. § 1332(a) asserting various state law claims against defendant. This matter is now before the Court on plaintiffs motion to compel discovery.1

In this action, plaintiff generally seeks a finder’s fee for allegedly facilitating the acquisition by defendant United Healthcare Corporation [“UHC”] of Physicians Healthcare Plan Corporation [“PHP”].
