The plaintiffs, the fiduciaries of the Bricklayers <& Trowel Trades International Pension Fund (the “Pension' Fund”) and the International Masonry Institute (the “Masonry Institute”), 1 see Complaint (“Compl.”) ¶ 1, seek to recover unpaid contributions and associated damages under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended, 29 U.S.C. §1 1109(a), 1132(a), (g), 1145 (2012) (“ERISA”), from the defendant, John E.
