I. INTRODUCTION

This case is currently before the court on the plaintiffs motion for a default judgment in accordance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq. The plaintiff, the International Painters and Allied Trades Industry Pension Fund (“the Pension Fund”), is a multi-employer employee pension plan governed by ERISA. The defendants are R.W.
