Mrs. Eliza Dyer was, during the last four or five years of her life, a widow, and the owner of a small farm and a personal estate of the value of several hundred dollars, in the county of Hamilton, in this State. On the 10th day of April, 1879, being then dangerously ill from a severe attack of pneumonia, she requested Dr. James M. Garretson, her attending physician, to prepare for her a will, disposing of all her property, and gave him specific directions as to the disposition she wished to make of her property.
