This case involves a request that this court exercise its discretionary authority to award attorney fees to the prevailing parties in a case involving school funding. Petitioners were designated as the prevailing parties in that case, Pendleton School Dist. v. State of Oregon, 345 Or 596, 200 P3d 133 (2009).
