MANSFIELD, District Judge.
Defendants have made voluminous motions seeking discovery, severance 1 and dismissal of various counts of the indictment. 2 The introduction to the indictment charges the defendants with having devised a scheme to defraud applicants for mortgage loans by means of a “shell” corporation named Colombia Resources Ltd., which was falsely represented to the victims as having large amounts of money available for such loans.
