DUNAGAN, Chief Justice.

This is a personal injury action arising out of a rear end automobile collision. Plaintiff John William Hines (hereafter called appellant) brought suit against defendant Monte Nelson (hereafter called ap-pellee) for injuries sustained as a result of appellee’s employee, Joseph B. Whitefield, causing the tractor-trailer truck which he was driving to collide with the rear end of appellant’s automobile while the latter was stopped in. obedience to a red traffic signal at an intersection.
