THE COURT.

Each of these appeals is from judgments of conviction entered upon the verdict of a jury and from an order denying defendant’s motion for a new trial. On the trial of the first case (No. 2980), defendant was found guilty of the crimes of robbery and assault with intent to commit murder, as charged in counts I and II, respectively, of the information. The trial of the second case resulted in verdicts of guilty on each of three counts of robbery.
