This is an action brought by the law firm of Sherrets, Smith & Gardner, P.C., subsequently known as Smith & Gardner, Inc. (the firm), to recover attorney fees allegedly owed by MJ Optical, Inc. Although Optical Illusions, Inc., was named as a codefendant, the record does not reflect any legal services provided to that corporation, and we therefore make no further reference to it in this opinion.
