On March 27, 2012, plaintiff Anand Dasrath (“plaintiff’) commenced this action against his former employer, Stony Brook University Medical Center (the “Medical Center”), alleging that he was discriminated against upon the basis of his national origin and race in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e et seq. (“Title VII”).
