PONDER, Justice.
The defendant, Patrick C. Ellis, was indicted, tried and convicted of murder and sentenced to be electrocuted. He has appealed from the conviction and sentence.
The appeal is predicated on two bills of exception. Bill of Exception No. 1 is taken to the court’s overruling of the defendant’s objection to the admission of a written confession. Bill of Exception No. 2 is taken to the overruling of the motion for a new trial based on the same grounds.
