Great Hawaiian Financial Corporation (Great Hawaiian) appeals the district court’s entry of summary judgment in favor of various former members of the general partnership known as Hilolani Acres Joint Venture (partners). Great Hawaiian also appeals the district court’s orders awarding attorneys’ fees under Hawaii law to the partners as the prevailing parties in an assumption action and sanctioning Great Hawaiian under Fed.R.Civ.P. 11 for filing a frivolous motion for reconsideration.…
