WILKINSON, Circuit Judge:

This appeal requires us to decide whether a district court may consider the value of a prisoner’s claim when determining whether to dismiss it as frivolous under the in forma pauperis statute. See 28 U.S.C. § 1915(e)(2)(B)® (2000).
