This controversy grows out of the question whether a strip of ground was dedicated to and accepted by the town as a part of a street. It appears that on the 6tli day of June, 1861, Farnham, who was then the owner of lot 100, in the town of Princeton, sub-divided it into Farnhands addition. It appears that, up to that time, he ivas the owner of the land to the north line of Peru street, including the strip in dispute. But it is claimed that he, by that sub-division and plat, dedicated the strip to the town, and that the dedication was accepted.
