In the matter of this appeal, James Shields, Joseph E. Hindert and Folkert Danakas, commissioners of highways of the town of Minonk, are appellants, and Jane Rose Ross and Harriet G. Ames are appellees. Said Ross and said Ames are two of the heirs-at-law of the late Miner T. Ames, now deceased, and each of them inherited from him an undivided one-fifth of certain mining property at Minonk. The property consists of a coal mine with about two thousand acres of unmined coal adjoining and adjacent to the shaft, about eighty houses for the use of the miners, and numerous other buildings connected…
