Plaintiff Assabet Valley Federation of Teachers, Local 3199, MFT, AFT, AFL-CIO (the Federation) brings this action against the Assabet Valley Regional Vocational School District Committee (the Committee or the District), alleging that the Committee has acted unlawfully by: (1) failing to provide its employees with indemnity style group health insurance after November 1, 1989; and (2) deducting ten percent (10%) of the costs of health maintenance organization (HMO) insurance coverage from its employees’ pay between July 1, 1990 and the summer of 1991.
