Appellant was convicted of rape and appeals on the general grounds and several specific grounds.
The evidence disclosed that about 10:00 a.m., July 4, 1981 the victim was walking to a bus stop enroute to work. The victim was assaulted from behind, abducted forcibly, driven to a dump a short distance away and raped at knife point. As appellant drove away from the dump, the victim obtained the license number of his car. The victim went to Grady Hospital and reported the rape and was examined physically. The police were notified and the victim was thereafter taken to the police…
