Ellis was convicted of rape, sodomy, kidnapping with bodily injury and false imprisonment.
1. During cross-examination of the victim, appellant requested that the court require the State to give appellant a copy of the victim’s statement to the police, so appellant could use the statement for impeachment purposes. The court examined the statement and allowed appellant to see one page of the statement, but would not allow him to see the entire statement.
