This lawsuit grew out of the trading of a farm for a stock of hardware. The plaintiff owned a farm in Harper county, which he contracted to sell and exchange to the defendant for a mercantile stock of hardware and implements belonging to the latter and located at Hillsboro, in Marion county. The farm consisted of a half section of land and was priced to defendant at $67.50 per acre, subject to an incumbrance of $4,000. ■ In exchange for the farm plaintiff was to accept defendant’s mercantile stock and implements at an invoice price based on…
