The plaintiff seeks to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by her on November 12, 1941, *734while riding in an automobile, owned and operated by the defendant and bearing Texas registration number plates, when it came into collision with another automobile. The declaration alleged that the defendant’s automobile was illegally registered, and at the trial the plaintiff sought to prove that the defendant at the time the automobile was registered on September 8, 1941, and at the time of the accident, was domiciled here.
