Between September 1989 and February 1990, the Mississippi State Auditor's Department (Auditor) conducted an investigatory audit on the City of Olive Branch, Mississippi (Olive Branch). The investigative audit of Olive Branch resulted in the Auditor taking exception for thirteen separate items of expenditures.
