Plaintiff, appearing pro se, has sued his former attorney, Joseph Virgilio, for legal malpractice and fraud. The claims are based on Virgilio’s representation of plaintiff in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals (“DCCA”) on direct appeal of his state conviction for armed robbery.
