STATEMENT OF THE CASE

This action, having a return date of December 2, 1997, was instituted by the plaintiff, Joseph Skirtic, against the defendants Donald Julian and Raymond Julian based on the defendants' failure to repay money allegedly lent to them. The plaintiff's second substituted complaint is dated August 10, 2001 and is in three counts.
