This case involves questions as to the validity of criminal discovery orders obtained by the State under the federal PATRIOT Act for use in an online child predator sting.
Respondent Anthony Clark Odom (Respondent) allegedly communicated with a detective with the Spartanburg County Sheriffs Office, who was posing as a thirteen-year-old girl, in online chat rooms. Respondent was charged with criminal solicitation of a minor.
