Defendant appeals, challenging his convictions and sentences in two cases consolidated for trial, Lane County Circuit Court Nos. 201323403 (the 403 case) and 201309731 (the 731 case).1 He raises multiple assignments of error as to each matter. As explained below, we conclude that the trial court erred in denying defendant’s repeated motions for a continuance of a suppression hearing and the ensuing trial in the 403 case; consequently, we reverse and remand in that matter.2 With respect to the 731 case, we reject without written discussion defendant’s assignments of error…
