Jason Stogiera was convicted by a jury of criminal solicitation with the intent to commit aggravated sexual assault of a child and sentenced by the trial court to fifteen years imprisonment. On appeal, Stogiera contends: (1) the trial court erred in failing to conduct a hearing on his motion for new trial; (2) trial counsel rendered ineffective assistance of counsel; and (3) the evidence is legally and factually insufficient to support his conviction.
