CUDAHY, Circuit Judge.
Loretta Aliotta, widow and executor of the estate of Joseph Aliotta, appeals an adverse judgment in a wrongful death lawsuit against the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak), the Illinois Central Railroad Company (IC) and Gary Gilmer, an Amtrak engineer.
