MILLER, J.
While driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, defendant and appellant David Buckley Doyle swerved into oncoming traffic and hit Mark Joseph Norton (the victim) who was riding a motor scooter. The victim died immediately. Defendant drove away from the scene with the scooter lodged under his vehicle. He was apprehended one mile from the scene of the accident.
