This is an appeal from the judgment of sentence entered in the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County following Appellant Markez Priest’s conviction by a jury on the charges of first-degree murder and firearms not to be carried without a license. 1 Appellant contends (1) the jury’s verdict is against the weight of the evidence, (2) the evidence was insufficient to prove that Appellant was the perpetrator of the crimes, and (3) the trial court erred in denying Appellant’s motion in limine to exclude out-of-court statements made by Mr. Odom, as well as permitting the…
