At issue in these cases consolidated for appeal, is the authority of a trial court to revoke a suspended sentence and term of probation. In State v. Hultman, 21 Wn. App. 878, 587 P.2d 599 (1978), a divided Court of Appeals, Division Two, found State v. Mortrud, 89 Wn.2d 720, 575 P.2d 227 (1978), to be controlling and reversed the trial court's order revoking a 1-year suspended sentence. The case is before this court pursuant to RAP 13.2.
