OPINION

DONNELLY, Judge.

Appellant appeals from an order of the district court reversing the decision of the State Personnel Board (the Board) wMch directed that Appellant be reinstated to Ms former position or a position of similar status, together with back pay and benefits. The central issue on appeal is whether the Board had jurisdiction to adjudicate Appellant’s claim that he was improperly terminated from employment. For the reasons discussed herein, we affirm.
