On September 28, 1984, Indian Harbor Properties, Inc. (“IHP”), a Connecticut cor poration owned by Showboat Inn, Inc. (“Showboat”), gave Connecticut Bank and Trust Company, N.A. (“CBT”) a $5,000,-000.00 note and a $300,000.00 note which were secured by mortgages of the same date on certain real property owned by IHP and located in Greenwich, Connecticut (the “Inn”). On May 23, 1986, CBT, IHP, and Showboat entered into a Modification Agreement pursuant to which the foregoing notes were consolidated into one…
