Plaintiff, Bridget Pollard (“Pollard” or “Plaintiff’), an African-American female, brings the instant lawsuit against her previous employer, Defendant Quest Diagnostics (“Quest” or “Defendant”), alleging claims of discrimination and retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. (“Title VII”) and 42 U.S.C. § 1981 (“Section 1981”).
