The plaintiff claims to be the owner of a tract of land within the limits of Iowa City. The city, claiming that a street known as “Randolph Street”'has been properly established along and upon the east side of s dd tract, instructed its street commissioner to open and improve the same, and thereupon plaintiff, denying the existence of such street, brought this action to enjoin interference with his possession.
