Chiles v. Jones

This action of ejectment was commenced in 1831, on the demise of Chiles, claiming under the patent of William Hays, against the tenants of Jones, who claimed under the elder patent of Jeremiah Moore.

A judgment rendered in favor of the plaintiff, in 1832, was reversed by this Court, in 1834. A judgment rendered in favor of the defendants, after the return of the cause to the Circuit Court, was also reversed by this Court, in' 1836.
