The case underlying this original petition involves Harry, John, and Carol Pappas’s successful request to have Judge Mark R. Denton recuse himself from an eminent domain case involving the Pappases and the City of Las Vegas Downtown Redevelopment Agency (the “Agency”), which condemned the Pappases’ property in order to develop the Fremont Street Experience project in downtown Las Vegas.
