R.R.E. seeks review of a court of appeals' decision which affirmed the circuit court's order dismissing R.R.E.'s petition for a reexamination hearing. R.R.E. contends that he is entitled to release from his not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect commitment because the circuit court failed to abide by the thirty day time limit for holding the hearing on his petition for reexamination as required by sec. 51.20(16)(c), Stats.
