Cureton, Judge:

*535Emil Kumpf, Jr., respondent, brought breach of contract action against United Telephone, appellant, asserting wrongful discharge in violation of provision set forth in United’s employee handbook. The jury returned a verdict for Kumpf. United appeals. We affirm.

United Telephone Company hired Kumpf as a storeroom worker in 1970. He worked his way up to foreman of the Beaufort division warehouse.
