The Jefferson County Board of Education (“the Board”) filed an action in the Court of Appeals seeking a writ compelling the Jefferson Circuit Court to dismiss the wrongful termination action filed by former teacher, Terum Hopper. The Court of Appeals denied the Board’s request, holding that the circuit court had subject matter jurisdiction over the action, and that the Board had an adequate remedy.
