BENHAM, Justice.
This is an appeal concerning appellant Mattie Goddard and her former employer appellee the City of Albany and appellee city manager Alfred D. Lott. In February 2006, Lott terminated appellant from her job as the director of Albany’s civic center because he was dissatisfied with her performance. Prior to finalizing the termination, Lott held a meeting allowing appellant to come forward with evidence to challenge her termination.
