This was an action brought in the district court of Pima County, by R. G. Brady against George Pusch, to contest an election held in the city of Tucson, Arizona, on the fourteenth day of December, 1896, at which the parties above named were candidates for the office of councilman of the second ward of the city of Tucson. The returns of the election board showed that George Pusch received one hundred and fifty-four votes, and that R. G. Brady received one hundred and fifty-one votes.
