This case is before the court on an interlocutory appeal from an order by a Superior Court judge suppressing certain statements made by the defendant, Joyce J. Magee, to law enforcement officials. After hearing testimony from several witnesses, the judge ordered the statements suppressed on the grounds that: (1) the defendant’s waiver of her Miranda rights was not valid and (2) the statements were not voluntary.
