On April 15, 1983, plaintiff, Central States, Southeast and Southwest Areas Pension Fund (“Central States”), filed this action to recover allegedly delinquent pension fund contributions. Plaintiff brings this action under section 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act of 1947, 29 U.S.C. § 185(a), section 502 of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1132, and section 306 of the Multiemployer Pension Plan Amendments Act of 1980, 29 U.S.C. § 1145.
