This is an original proceeding in mandamus brought by the state of Oregon on the relation of Eugene C. *620Venn, District Attorney for Lane connty, Oregon, as the petitioner, against Prank B. Reid, presiding judge of the circuit court of the county of Lane, second judicial district, state of Oregon, as the respondent.
