This is an action at law by a former trustee of an inter vivos trust against the settlor-beneficiary to recover damages on the theory that the trustee was compelled to resign *741because the settlor vilified and abused him to such an extent that it would have been incompatible with the trust relationship for plaintiff to continue to serve. The conduct complained of was that defendant refused to co-operate with plaintiff and pursued a wanton campaign of vilification and gratuitous insults, including such charges as: that plaintiff had ‘ ‘ extorted a trust agreement,” was “ acting behind her back,”…
