This unusu.al interlocutory appeal involves the validity of a district judge’s decision refusing to compel a journalist to disclose confidential news sources. Appellants here are plaintiffs in a federal class action pending in the Northern District of Illinois, 1 a ease which involves alleged racial discrimination in the sale of houses to Negroes in Chicago.
