Plaintiff brings suit to collect damages for the destruction of his automobile and for personal injuries resulting from a collision between his automobile and a large motor truck, owned by defendant and operated by one of 'its servants, which collision took place in daytime on the Shreveport-Minden public highway. He charges negligence on the part of the driver of defendant’s truck.
