FERGUSON, Judge:

The accused was tried by general court-martial and, upon his plea, was found guilty of absence without leave, in violation of Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 86, 10 USC § 886. He was sentenced to be confined at hard labor for one year and to forfeit all pay and allowances.
