This matter comes before the Court on defendant’s Motion for Summary Judgment (doc. 41). The Motion has been briefed and is ripe for disposition at this time.
I. Nature of the Case.
Plaintiff, Lewis Sharpe, an African-American male, brought this action for employment discrimination and retaliation against defendant, Global Security International d/b/a Global Security Glazing (“GSG”), pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e et seq., and 42 U.S.C. § 1981.
